Pork
Sprinkle with Barbecue Salt before grilling, smoking, roasting, or braising.

Sweet Potato Wedges
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle before roasting

Fresh Green Beans
Season with Barbecue Salt after steaming or sautéing.

Deviled Eggs
Stir Barbecue Salt into yolk mixture before filling.

Barbecue Salt
Yield: approximately 2 cups

Ingredients
  1. ¼ cup coriander seeds
  2. ¼ cup fennel seeds
  3. 1 cup kosher salt
  4. ¼ cup sugar
  5. 2½ tablespoons ground black pepper
  6. 4 teaspoons smoked paprika
Instructions
  1. In a small skillet, cook coriander and fennel seeds over medium- high heat, stirring frequently, until fragrant, approximately 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Using a spice grinder or a mortar and pestle, lightly grind toasted seeds. Transfer to a small bowl. Stir in salt and remaining ingredients. Transfer to sealable containers, such as jars. Cover and store up to 3 months.
