Christmas on the River is a holiday celebration in Monroe and West Monroe that includes beautiful Christmas lighting displays, entertainment, holiday shopping, and much more! The fun kicks off with the lighting of the Freedom Trees on Veteran’s Day and continues through New Year’s Day. Festival weekend is the first weekend in December and includes all-day entertainment, food, a redneck parade, the Cottonland Christmas parade, and fireworks, to name a few!
