This souped-up Jalapeño-Bacon Pimiento Cheese spread is great on grilled cheese sandwiches, biscuits, or served with fresh veggies.
Jalapeño-Bacon Pimiento Cheese
Makes about 3½ cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
- Biscuits and pickles, to serve
- Garnish: crumbled cooked bacon
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, stir together Cheddar, cream cheese, pimientos, mayonnaise, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper until combined. Stir in bacon and jalapeño until combined.
- Serve with biscuits and pickles. Garnish with bacon, if desired.
