Jalapeño-Bacon Pimiento Cheese

This souped-up Jalapeño-Bacon Pimiento Cheese spread is great on grilled cheese sandwiches, biscuits, or served with fresh veggies.

Jalapeño-Bacon Pimiento Cheese
 
Makes about 3½ cups
Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
  • Biscuits and pickles, to serve
  • Garnish: crumbled cooked bacon
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together Cheddar, cream cheese, pimientos, mayonnaise, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper until combined. Stir in bacon and jalapeño until combined.
  2. Serve with biscuits and pickles. Garnish with bacon, if desired.
