- 1 1⁄2 cups natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- Garnish: miniature marshmallows, crushed peppermint
- In a medium bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa powder. Place in sealable containers, such as jars. Package marshmallows and crushed peppermint separately. Store mix in a sealed container up to 3 months.
- To make one serving: In a small saucepan, whisk together 3 tablespoons mix with 1 cup milk. Cook over medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally. Top with marshmallows and peppermint before serving, if desired.
