You can substitute the pecan liqueur for another nutty nip like amaretto or a syrup like orgeat, if desired.
Grapefruit-Pecan Punch
Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients
- Ice cubes
- 2 ounces light or dark rum
- 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- ½ ounce orange liqueur*
- ½ ounce fresh lime juice
- ¼ ounce pecan liqueur*
- ¼ teaspoon grenadine
- Crushed ice
- Garnish: fresh grapefruit slices
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker combine rum, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, orange liqueur, lime juice, pecan liqueur, and grenadine. Fill with ice cubes. Cover, and shake vigorously to combine.
- Fill a chilled rocks glass with crushed ice.
- Strain rum mixture into prepared glass. Garnish with grapefruit, if desired.
