Ginger-Glazed Sausage Bites
Makes 4 to 6 servings
  • ½ cup ginger preserves
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 (16-ounce) package smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together preserves, ginger, and mustard.
  2. In a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook, stirring frequently, until browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer sausage to preserves mixture, and toss to coat.
