Ingredients
  1. 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  2. 1 teaspoon salt, divided
  3. 1 pound ground beef
  4. 1 cup frozen vegetable seasoning blend (celery, bell pepper, and onion)
  5. 1 (26-ounce) jar pasta sauce
  6. 2 cups shredded Cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Layer half of potatoes in bottom of dish; sprinkle with 1⁄2 teaspoon salt. Bake 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook ground beef and seasoning blend over medium-high heat, stirring until browned and crumbly, approximately 5 minutes. Drain.
  4. Spoon beef mixture over baked potatoes in dish. Top with remaining potatoes; sprinkle with remaining 1⁄2 teaspoon salt. Spread pasta sauce over potatoes.
  5. Cover, and bake 20 minutes. Uncover, and top with cheese. Bake until cheese melts, 10 to 15 minutes more.
