A Taste of Livingston with the Culinary Traveler

Just a short jaunt from Jackson, Mississippi, lies the rapidly developing community of Livingston, Mississippi. Once a thriving commercial center, Livingston was left almost abandoned following the Civil War. These days there’s been a renewed interest in the antebellum town, following the opening of “The Gateway to History Scenic Byway,” which winds through beautiful and historic rural Madison County. Now, Livingston boasts a Farmer’s Market, the Farmer’s Table Cooking School, a high-end wine store, and many more locally owned businesses. Join me as I experience first-hand the culinary revival of Livingston, Mississippi.
