Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 dash salt
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 (29-ounce) can sliced peaches, undrained
- Ice cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a 9-x-9-inch baking dish, melt butter in oven.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Pour mixture over butter. Pour peaches and their juice over flour mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
