Yield: approximately 1½ cups

1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
¼ cup unsulfured molasses
¼ cup apple-cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
