Yield: 3 servings

5 cups vanilla ice cream 
½ cup cream of coconut
¼ cup whole milk
1½ cups sweetened flaked coconut, toasted and divided
2 tablespoons corn syrup

 


1. In the container of an electric blender, combine ice cream, cream of coconut, and milk. Blend until smooth. Add 1 cup toasted coconut, and blend until combined.

2. Pour corn syrup on a plate. Dip rims of serving glasses in corn syrup and then in remaining 1⁄2 cup toasted coconut. Pour milk shake into coconut-rimmed glasses. Serve immediately.
