Yield: 4 to 6 servings
4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
½ cup chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup balsamic glace, such as Colavita
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1. Heat a medium cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, and cook until crispy, stirring occasionally, approximately 6 minutes. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon; set aside.
2. Add Brussels sprouts to pan, and cook until crisp and brown on the outside and tender throughout, approximately 10 minutes. Add parsley, balsamic glace, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; stir to coat.
