cooking apples, cored and sliced

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground allspice

Apple Butterscotch Oat Cookies, coarsely crumbled 

cups vanilla ice cream

cup prepared hot caramel topping, such as Smucker’s

1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples; cook until tender and lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in cinnamon and allspice. Remove from heat.


2. Heat caramel topping according to package directions. Layer apples, crumbled cookies, ice cream, and caramel sauce evenly in 4 glasses or bowls. Serve immediately.
