Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 4 cups brandy, such as Calvados
- 2 pounds fresh cherries, pitted
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugars and brandy. Cook over medium heat until sugars dissolve, approximately 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cherries. Divide mixture evenly among 8 (8-ounce) sealable containers. Refrigerate up to 6 weeks.
