Bacon-Balsamic Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients
  1. 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  2. 1 pound Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and cut in half
  3. 1⁄2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  4. 1⁄4 cup balsamic glace, such as Colavita
  5. 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, and cook until crisp, approximately 6 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, and let cool. Crumble, and set aside. Reserve rendered bacon fat in pan.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts to pan, and cook until crisp and browned on the outside and tender throughout, approximately 10 minutes. Add parsley, balsamic glaze, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; stir to combine. Spinkle with bacon.
